Four Seasons Amman

After leaving Sydney on a cold evening and a long-haul flight, it was nice to arrive in Jordan on a warm sun drenched morning.  I couldn’t wait to check-into our hotel, the Four Seasons Amman, located in the heart of Jordan’s bustling capital city which became home for the next two weeks!

On arrival I was greeted like royalty (as I am sure all guests are) by the hotel staff, whom were consistently friendly, helpful, passionate and caring. I quickly saw that my stay at the hotel would be comfortable and one to remember.

A spacious elegant, stylish room and soaring views of blue skies over Amman’s White City made for a dreamy Mediterranean setting during my two week stay. It quickly felt like home. I enjoyed long days lounging by the rooftop pool, with a birds-eye view across the entire city during Amman’s 30+ degree days. Breakfast at Olea, was something I really looked forward to, with an incredible buffet offering an array of Jordanian delights from fresh pastries, fruit, cheeses and traditional dishes including my all-time favourite local breakfast of flatbread, falafel and hummus made from the freshest local ingredients to a selection of to the finest coffee and juices. The Spa Four Seasons Amman, was without a doubt the most invigorating massage I have had in my lifetime!! It was the most relaxing and indulging hour spent during my stay… pure heaven!

The saying “time flies when you’re having fun” couldn’t be more relevant to my trip in Jordan. The Four Seasons Amman definitely holds a special place in my heart now. It was sad to see my two weeks in this beautiful hotel come to an end but there’s one thing that makes me feel better, knowing that I will be back next year. I don’t think I can live without a little bit of Jordan in my life every year…
